Ten of the most truthful conspiracy theories in high technology
Technologies
author: Oleg Nechay May 12, 2013
In the modern world, cynical rationality and the most absurd chaos are intertwined in the most bizarre way.
The special services of the strongest states of the world can easily track all the actions and movements of a law abiding citizen, but at the same time they are unable to prevent the most destructive terrorist acts.
The Large Hadron Collider brought science very close to understanding the origin of the universe, but at the same time everyday obscurantism reached a level that would have been amazed even in the Middle Ages.
All this creates the most hothouse conditions for the growth of all kinds of conspiracy theories that explain everything that is happening in the world as the result of deliberate actions of malicious forces or simply insidious plans of secret groups from sects and special services to freemasons and demons.
Conspiracy theories have not ignored high technologies.
Of course, this is such a tempting way to find simple explanations for the most ambiguous and new events and phenomena!
Moreover, subconsciously, most of us seriously and for good reason suspect that all these world elites, governments and big business are manipulating technologies in their own interests, seeking to preserve and increase their power and influence on ordinary people.
Let's get acquainted with several popular conspiracy theories that are directly related to high technologies.
1. Social networks are created and work with the participation of special services
The most popular and easily provable conspiracy theory.
Special services and law enforcement agencies are really happy to use the information that users voluntarily post on Facebook, VKontakte and any other social networks.
At the same time, there are regular reports in the press that the leadership of the networks directly cooperates with the secret services: take, for example, the recent scandal with the leadership of VKontakte, which was accused of having ties with the FSB, the department of the "K" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the notorious "former gray cardinal" Vladislav Surkov.
It is difficult to say how reliable such reports are, if even without any contact with the owners, the special services have all the technical means to monitor social networks.
2. Oil and gas companies are preventing the spread of electric vehicles
This theory is most clearly presented in the 2006 American documentary Who Killed The Electric Car? ("Who killed the electric car?")
and its 2011 sequel Revenge of The Electric Car ("Revenge of the electric Car").
Both of these films with a Russian translation can be found in torrents.
The first film is dedicated to the history of one of the first mass produced electric vehicles, the General Electric EV1, which appeared as a result of the adoption of the air pollution control Law in California in 1990.
As a result of protests by automakers and oil companies, this law was quickly repealed.
At the same time, almost the entire film is occupied by a story about how General Electric tried in every possible way to discourage potential buyers from buying or renting their own electric car.
The second film, which was subtitled "You canot kill an idea whose time has come", tells about the company Tesla Motors and its electric car expensive and pretentious.
One way or another, the oil monopolists are doing everything possible to make us continue to depend on the producers of gasoline and diesel fuel.
And we know that it's not at all about the imperfection of technologies, because of which electric cars remain too expensive and impractical to operate.
3. The American HAARP program is engaged in the creation of energy weapons
The idea of "insidious intrigues abroad", so beloved by the current political leadership of Russia, is also understood by alternative thinkers in the West itself.
The American High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) has been repeatedly accused of the most monstrous manipulations of the weather and provoking destructive cataclysms — from the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 and the Chelyabinsk meteorite in 2013 to the violation of air and sea navigation and the failure of spacecraft, in particular "Phobos Grunt".
To influence the ionosphere, the HAARP program in Alaska has deployed a phased array antenna field capable of focusing high power electromagnetic radiation (up to about 3,600 kW) on a small area.
Opponents of the project claim that it is not a scientific study, but a geophysical weapon that violates the natural climate of the Earth, and that the hurricanes and floods that have swept the world and the United States itself over the past decade are a direct consequence of the use of HAARP.
Of course, they deny everything.
4. Manufacturers of antivirus programs are intensively developing viruses, which they themselves are fighting
This is the oldest " IT " conspiracy theory based on a completely rational approach, because the very existence of computer viruses is the basis for the well — being of antivirus developers.
However, the logic here is of a very peculiar order: following it, we can safely say that the fighters against drugs benefit from the existence of drug dealers, the tax inspectorate persons who evade paying taxes on a particularly large scale, and the police — numerous thieves and murderers.
And all of them cherish and cherish the objects of their direct activity and literally blow away dust particles from them.
Long lasting incandescent lamps are deliberately discontinued
Another common conspiracy theory, according to which manufacturers deliberately limit the service life of their products in order to maintain a stable demand for it and generate interest in new models.
The history of this theory goes back to the so called "Phoebus Cartel", which united the world's largest manufacturers of electric lamps, within the framework of which a secret agreement was reached in 1924 to prevent the mass production of lamps with a service life of more than 1000 hours and on measures to ensure such a restriction.
The 2010 French Spanish documentary The Light Bulb Conspiracy is devoted to this theory, which, among other things, tells about electronics that fail in a timely manner due to special components that play the role of timers, as well as about a Russian program that allows ink cartridges to be used in inkjet printers, which malicious electronics prematurely considers empty.
6. Free energy exists
Many people are convinced that there is publicly available and completely free energy in nature, the use of which is blocked by governments and energy monopolists, because this can undermine the basis of their power.
Otherwise, we would have long ago used cold nuclear fusion as the main method of generating electricity, including at home, and our cars would have driven on engines that are absolutely safe for nature, running on atmospheric air.
7. Perpetual motion is possible
A variation on the theme of the previous theory, as ancient and indestructible as the dream of heaven or faith in God.
An idea that is especially attractive to those who have memorized only formulas from the school course of natural sciences and completely ignored their physical meaning.
The creators of magnetic motors are especially beautiful, the principle of operation of which is based on the fact that magnets have a reserve of energy, and the action of the magnetic field is limited in space.
As a result, a body from a ferromagnet can be launched into a closed circle, which will move sequentially passing from the field of action of one magnet to another.
Of course, the law of conservation of energy was invented solely to hide these amazing opportunities from the population of the planet.
Fortunately, there are people like Bob who do not give up and tirelessly invent magnetic motors.
8. The authorities have long been able to control the human brain and travel through time
As you know, secret experiments on controlling human consciousness and moving in space and time have been conducted by the special services of all countries since the last century.
Thanks to the venality of the decaying capitalist society, the most famous experiments of this type were not Soviet, but American secret programs.
For example, the Montauk project (after the name of the area in New York State) in the 60s was engaged in the study of super strong electromagnetic fields to create psychological weapons, as well as to move objects of influence in space and time.
The popular science fiction plot about "popadants" is just about this: first, a person's perception of reality changes, and then he suddenly finds himself in another place and in another time.
The inactive AN/FPS 35 radar serves as a monument to the Montauk project.
A legendary example of transporting an object in space was the so called Philadelphia experiment, during which in 1943 the US Navy destroyer "Eldridge" with a team disappeared from radar and instantly moved several tens of kilometers from the original point.
According to some reports, the experiment on the teleportation of the ship was organized on the basis of the records of the recently deceased physicist Nikola Tesla, which fell into the hands of the American government.
This story formed the basis for the feature film "The Philadelphia Experiment", which was shot in 1984, which was successfully played, including in Soviet cinemas.
9. Bitcoin is discredited by the "powerful of this world"
The so called "cryptocurrency" Bitcoin, which does not have a single issuing center, nor an official regulator capable of forcibly influencing its course, does not fit into the scheme of the modern world economy at all.
That is why it is deliberately discredited by the true owners of the international financial system, which Bitcoin undermines with its virtuality.
And it does not matter to us at all that even solid capitals in Bitcoin today are not worth a penny and Bitcoin is not a legal tender in any country in the world.
10. Your laptop, TV and game console are watching you
All electronic and radio technical devices are able to monitor their owners: hidden microphones and cameras have been repeatedly detected in them, as well as encrypted signal transmission schemes via the Internet or on the radio.
It's no secret that the cameras of your laptop or smartphone can be activated even without your participation and without an appropriate alarm, so knowledgeable people must seal them with opaque tape.
Some companies no longer consider it necessary to hide their desire to monitor their customers: for example, Comcast, Google TV, Microsoft and Verizon have applied for patents for the design of televisions and digital video recorders that can monitor what viewers are doing while using them.
It is planned to track all movements, sounds, the choice of food and drinks, nationality, mood and other information in order to make advertising more targeted, and broadcasts more suitable for a particular moment.
But we know what all this is really necessary for!
* * *
We have listed only ten of the most truthful conspiracy theories in the field of high technologies, the truth of which no educated and sane person will doubt.
In fact, there are much more simple explanations for complex things — in Russia, a whole TV channel is engaged in promoting conspiracy theories and other achievements of weird science.
Let's hope that the day will come very soon when we will all know everything about what really exists.

Well, let's say that the possibility of providing free or much cheaper energy to everyone exists, it is enough just to show the state will.

It is very easy to deal with this: somewhere in a large consumer (say in the USA or Germany), prices are inflated (at the request of the "Troika", for example).
And the local supplier will inflate the prices automatically, they say you can sell there and at a high price, I will not sell here cheap.
Well, or just "what's here if you can go there plus a mansion in London".

I will say from the light bulbs that the short lived nature of goods is certainly in the hands of the capitalist economy!
There is such a work "Capital"…And the mass public certainly DOES NOT UNDERSTAND what they are studying there on the TANK!
Conspiracies are the essence of legends and myths of the modern abundant world!
