"Biography of Kobe Bryant"
Kobe was born in Philadelphia on August 23, 1978 in the family of former NBA player Joe Bryant.
He began to master the basics of basketball in Italy, where he received an education in elementary school.
After returning home, Kobe begins to grow rapidly, and basketball becomes his main occupation.
Not a single day without playing: training, watching videos, father's instructions.
All this contributed to the formation of Bryant as a player.
When he entered Lower Merion High School, Kobi immediately attracted the attention of the scouts.
His talent and work ethic showed that a young star was growing.
The daily training sessions were not in vain.
Thanks to Bryant's efforts, within four years, Lower Merion turned from a bad team into champions of Penn State.
As a result, he became the most productive player in the history of this state, scoring a total of 2,883 points, and won the title of the Best Player of 1996 among schoolchildren.
After that, the road to the NBA was open to him.
The Charlotte Hornets selected him at number 13 in the Draft.
However, experiencing an acute shortage in the center, they immediately traded to the Lakers for Vlad Divac.
In Los Angeles, the young "prodigy" gradually began to assert himself.
Especially on the All Star Weekend, he managed to become the most productive player of the NBA rookie match and win the Dunk Contest (a competition for shots from above).
At the end of his first season, Bryant was named to the Second Team of the NBA Rookies, averaging about 7 points per game.
In 1998, at the age of 19 years and 5 months, he was selected to the starting five All Stars of the West at the All Star Game in New York, thereby the" prodigy " becomes the youngest participant in this match in the entire history of the League and receives the status of an NBA superstar.
Next season, Kobe gets into the Third NBA Team, scoring 20 points on average per game.
And in 1999-00, with the arrival of coach Phil Jackson, the Lakers became NBA champions.
Of course, one of the main culprits of the victory is Bryant.
In addition to the championship title, he gets into the Second National Team of the NBA, the First Team of the Best Defenders of the NBA and the Second Team of the Most Interviewed NBA Players!
Amazing results for a 22 year old player.
In the same season, Bryant continues to progress.
In the game against Golden State, he sets a personal record 51 points, and his average performance reaches 30 points per match Kobe Bryant's brilliant career continues.
The eighth number of the Los Angeles Lakers will bring a lot of pleasure to their fans.
And more than once the traditional WOW will be pronounced, with the next corporate drift of the heir to the throne of the Great Michael.
Bryant attracted interest almost from the very beginning as a player who has something in common with Jordan.
Having spent a not brilliant, but decent first season in Los Angeles with 7.6 points per game, Kobe has greatly improved in skill, has become one of the most productive players of the association.
Spending only 26 minutes on the court, he managed to score 15.4 points per game.
Kobe has repeatedly participated in the NBA All Star Games.
In 1997, he won the competition of throws from above.
In the 1999-2000 season, he was selected to the first "five" in defense.
Not so long ago, Kobe set his new personal record, and at the same time the NBA record for performance - 81 points per game - this is the 3rd result in the entire history of the NBA after the great and unique Wilt Chamberlain.
But apparently, the day is not far off when Kobe will conquer the coveted amount of 100 points.
