On August 5, 1962, the blonde of all times and peoples, the sex symbol of the 20th century, Marilyn Monroe, passed away and, apparently, of her own free will.
She was found dead with a telephone receiver in her hand in her own bedroom by the bedside table, on which sleeping pills were scattered.
The legendary movie star did not say anything to anyone then and did not leave a note, so we will never know the secret of her death.
With her departure, the whole era of her name ended.
And only a few films remained, and a star on the Walk of Fame.
And of course, her legendary feminine image, which is copied and will still be copied by any generation of actresses and ordinary women.
She did not just become a standard, she created it out of herself.
But the actress, who had dreamed of a serious role and true love all her life, apparently did not have enough fortitude to always maintain an ideal appearance.
Her life was extraordinary, bright, exciting, and it ended abruptly, as super bright stars die.
In memory of the great actress and woman, we remembered the most interesting facts about her.
1. Norma Jean Baker was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles.
Her mother, Gladys Monroe Baker, gave the girl the name of the then popular actress Norma Tolmage, and Gladys named Martin Mortenson as her father, although this paternity is doubtful, since they had already separated.
Although it didnot really matter, because the two week old baby Norma was given to a foster family, where she lived for 6 years.
2. And Marilyn's mother was in a psychiatric hospital for many years.
3. During the Second World War, Captain Ronald Reagan decided that the best moral incentive for soldiers would be pictures of some pretty girls from an aircraft factory, which would show how they contribute to the fight against the enemy.
At the factory, photographer David Conover saw a 19 year old brown haired woman named Norma Jean Doherty, who was engaged in checking parachutes and painting airplanes.
The girl turned out to be very smiling and photogenic.
After this photo shoot, Conover decided that a great model would come out of the Norm…
It was these first pictures from the factory in the summer of 1945 that consider her the first steps to fame.
4. Monroe became the heroine of the cover of the first issue of Playboy magazine.
5. Some directors who worked with Marilyn later complained that it was impossible to work with her.
The actress was constantly confused and, even worse, forgot the words and was always late for filming.
Sometimes it took 20-40 takes to shoot an episode.
6. During the filming of the film "Itch of the seventh Year", the relationship between Marilyn and her second husband Joe DiMaggio broke down because of his jealousy.
To relieve the tension, the actress called her husband to the shooting, so that he would make sure that everything was in order there.
But it was on that day that the legendary scene was filmed, in which the flow of air from the ventilation hatch lifts up Monroe's skirt.
Joe became indescribably furious and soon their marriage, which lasted only nine months, broke up.
7. Monroe made herself several plastic surgeries.
Surgeons fixed her nose, changed the shape of her chin.
For three years, she had a "paraffin" breast (since silicone was not yet installed).
8. There is a common myth that Marilyn filed the heel on one of the shoes by half a centimeter to walk with her famous wobbly gait, as in the movie "Only girls in Jazz".
But in reality, the actress did not do this, and she achieved such a gait herself, training during the filming of the film "Niagara".
9. Most people perceived Monroe only as a very beautiful, but not too smart actress.
But in fact, Marilyn spent a lot of time on self education and read quite a lot of books.
Her personal library at the time of her death included more than 400 volumes.
The taste of the actress was quite diverse, among the authors of books in her library were: Z. Freud, L. Tolstoy, F. Dostoevsky, Scott Fitzgerald, A. Camus, James Joyce and others.
10. At the moment, there are 5 versions of the cause of her death:
1.
the murder committed by the special services on the orders of the Kennedy brothers in order to avoid publicity of their sexual relations;
2. murder committed by the mafia;
3.
drug overdose;
4.
suicide;
5. The tragic mistake of the psychoanalyst Ralph Greenson, who ordered Marilyn to take chloral hydrate shortly after taking nembutal.

In my opinion, the erroneous notion that blondes are "stupid"came from her…
And on the account that the "whore" was not true, frivolous, that's right, even more precisely windy.
Lesse, wherever you look, one "shocking" and something there at the expense of "image", "lifestyle", which very easily fits the concept of "whore"…

Marilyn Monroe was a deeply infantile person.
Her healthy ego was trampled and driven into the deepest corner of the subconscious, suppressed to an extreme degree by her mother.
Physical love, sex she compensated for the lack of love.
She wanted to feel needed, even for the sake of sex — at least so.
The whole essence of her ridiculous life was precisely in infantilism — from there her "childishness", and the erroneous diagnoses put to her by psychiatrists, and the fact that psychoanalysis drove her to a dead end, and this is dependence on barbiturators (and it is in her head).
Psychoanalysis makes infantile people pathetic for themselves, they feel their worthlessness and become prone to self destruction.
Monroe could get rid of infantilism if she realized herself as a woman — a real woman — mother.
She could feel it.
Motherhood would heal her sick soul, her sick consciousness.
It would heal easily.
But life did not give her this opportunity.
And Marilyn was weak.

I read one of the books about Marilyn Monroe.
I believe that she is an ordinary whore who did not hesitate to jump from one bed to another and sleep with men for money.
A whore,a mediocre hypocrite and a capricious egoist — that's who this woman is.
She acted with people in the most disgusting way, whining that she wanted to have children and a family — why then do 30 abortions?
Why behave so brazenly with her husbands and bring them to such a state that one even beat her constantly.
He also had to shake hands for holding back and not killing this selfish creature.
People, ow, read the memories of her and what kind of life she led.
You will have no doubts about who she really was.
PS Without going into the details of her life, I used to admire this girl too..a woman.
But now everything has become clear to me.

I agree with you completely!
But my opinion is somewhat different from yours....
An ordinary whore from the bottom, started with filming in porn.
The special cynicism of those who promoted it was to make an ordinary prostitute an idol of millions.
With her and people like her, the sex revolution in the United States began.
Look, in many of the worst films of those years, female actresses are dressed asekually.
There was no question of lifting skirts in public.
But the fucking genes were taking their toll.
Changes of husbands, alcoholism, drug addiction, behavior in public, explained her creative crisis.
As an actress, mediocrity, here to lie down under men, yes.
Most likely there was an overdose or suicide.
But so much was invested and so much money it brought (and will bring more) that they simply decided to compose a myth about a violent death.
Thus, to transfer her to the category of martyrs.
PS Who doubts about porn, so there are videos with it on the network.
Ordinary porn of those years.
You wonot find it, I can throw it off)

I absolutely agree with the previous comment.
Disrespectful young people who called Marilyn "sh", I would advise you to finish school first and achieve at least some success in your own life before writing such rubbish about a woman who has been dead for a long time.
She is remembered 50 years after her death, millions of people around the world admire her, songs are written in her honor, films are made, her life still arouses genuine interest and a reason for discussion among many.
I doubt that the future so to speak,"speakers", will be interesting to people during their lifetime as much as Marilyn Monroe was,is and will be interesting.
