The fastest man in the world
The name 'Usain Bolt' is synonymous with the word 'speed'; the Jamaican runner has set many world records in his life and is not going to slow down.
But has Usain Bolt always been so fast, and how exactly did the boy from an unknown Jamaican town become famous all over the world?

Usain Saint Leo Bolt is a Jamaican athlete, sprinter.
He is considered one of the fastest – if not the fastest – people in the world.
He became the first person who managed to set records in the 100 and 200 meters after the introduction of a fully automated time measurement system; he also set a world record in the 4x100 m relay in the company of his colleagues.
Bolt was born in Sherwood Content, Trelawny, Jamaica (Sherwood Content, Trelawny, Jamaica).
His parents ran a small grocery store;
In his spare time, Bolt played cricket and football on the street, in the company of his brother.
Usain's sprinter potential began to manifest itself already in his school years; by 12, Bolt was the fastest runner in the
school at a distance of 100 meters.
Later, Usain changed schools, but did not leave the sport; for some time he experimented with different disciplines, after which, on the recommendation of the coach, he decided to concentrate on athletics.
Under the guidance of professional mentors – one of whom was the former Olympic sprinter Pablo McNeil – Bolt began to develop innate abilities, demonstrating more and more impressive results over time.
It canot be said that Usain was so devoted to sports; the same McNeil recalled that he was pretty annoyed by the student's frivolous approach to training and his incredible love for all sorts of practical jokes
In 2001, Bolt competed for Jamaica for the first time at the Caribbean Regional Games; he managed to set a personal best (48.28) in the 400 meters and took silver at the CARIFTA Games.
Bolt also took silver at a distance of 200 meters.
In the same year, Usain took part in the international level race for the first time, at the IAAF World Youth Championship in Debrecen, Hungary (Debrecen, Hungary).
In the 200 meter race, he did not even manage to reach the final, although he still set a new record; along the way, Bolt continued to arrange his pranks, and one of these pranks ended for him with proceedings with the police.
The World Junior Championship in 2002 was held in Jamaica, which was a unique opportunity for Bolt to prove himself properly.
Bolt took advantage of this opportunity, winning the 200 meter race and becoming the youngest world class junior gold winner at the age of 15.
Usain was pretty panicked before the race; according to rumors, he even put his shoes on the wrong foot.
However, the stress of meeting with the crowd was the last for Bolt; the athlete never succumbed to pre race jitters.
In addition to gold, Bolt won two silver medals in relay races at this championship.
At CARIFTA 2003, Bolt improved on his previous result, winning 4 gold medals and the 'Austin Sealy award' as the Most Outstanding Athlete.
At the World Youth Championships, Bolt took another gold, setting a new championship record at the distance of 200 meters (defeating a headwind).
Many people appreciated Usain's potential, but Bolt's main victories were still ahead.
Having competed at a distance of 200 meters, Bolt managed to repeat the junior record of Roy Martin; from about this moment, representatives of the press began to actively follow Usain.
Usain's popularity also grew at home.
On the wave of success, Bolt was ready to go to the "adult" World Championship in Paris (Paris); alas, health problems (conjunctivitis) they disrupted his training and prevented him from getting to the tournament.
Usain continued to train and win; by the Beijing Olympics, he became a master of the 100 and 200 meters distances.
Determined to win on both tracks, Bolt went to the Olympics.
In the final of the 100 meter race, Bolt set a new world record (improving his own result) and confidently won; Usain's result looks even more impressive when you consider that the athlete was not helped by the wind, he had an under tied shoelace, and by the end of the race he defiantly slowed down to enjoy his glee.
The latter brought him a lot of problems – the athlete was blamed for immaturity; Bolt himself claimed that the record was not important for him, and that gold was enough for him.
At the 200 meters, however, Usain was no longer having fun; at this distance, he clearly squeezed everything possible out of himself, managing to break the record again and take gold.
Two days later, Bolt took the third gold of the Games, in the 4x100 m relay.
At the London Olympics, Bolt was ready to defend both of his gold medals; he coped with this task brilliantly.
At a distance of 100 meters, Usain set a new Olympic record, at a distance of 200 meters, he won a convincing victory.
Bolt became the first who managed to win medals at distances of 100 and 200 meters at once.
By the way, the Jamaican team also won the 4x100 relay, which brought Bolt a third medal
