Early years
Beethoven was born presumably on December 16 (only the date of his baptism is known for sure December 17) in 1770 in the city of Bonn in a musical family.
Since childhood, he was taught to play the organ, harpsichord, violin, flute.
For the first time, the composer Christian Gottlob Nefe began to seriously study with Ludwig.
Already at the age of 12, the first work of a musical orientation was added to Beethoven's biography – an assistant organist at the court.
Beethoven studied several languages, tried to compose music.
Beethoven loved to read, especially popular with him were the ancient Greek authors Homer and Plutarch, and more modern poets William Shakespeare, Goethe and Friedrich Schiller.

Beethoven's works differ from the classical harpsichord playing.
There, in Vienna, famous compositions were written in the future: Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, a Pathetic Sonata.
Rude, self loving in public, the composer was very open, friendly towards friends.
Beethoven's creativity of the following years is filled with new works: The First, Second Symphonies, "The Creation of Prometheus", "Christ on the Mount of Olives".
However, Beethoven's further life and work were complicated by the development of the ear disease tinitis.
The composer retreats to the city of Heiligenstadt.
There he is working on the Third the Heroic Symphony.
Complete deafness separates Ludwig from the outside world.
However, even this event cannot make him stop composing.
