Malevich's Suprematism: the formation of the concept
In 1915, the artist exhibited his works at the "Last Cubo Futurist exhibition of paintings "0,10"".
It was at this exhibition that he first presented 39 suprematist canvases to the general public, including "Four Squares", "What impudence", "Black Square and Red Square", "Self Portrait in two dimensions", "Quadrilateral and Circle", "Picturesque realism of a football player", as well as "Black Square".
At the exhibition, the artist distributed his manifesto booklet " From Cubism to Suprematism.
A new pictorial realism".

Many artists perceived the paintings of Kazimir Severinovich negatively and criticized his creative approach.
After this exhibition, Malevich began to promote the direction he invented — Suprematism.
In 1915, he created the society "Supremus", in which he united radical artists of that time: Nina Genke, Alexandra Exter, Lyubov Popova, Ivan Puni, Ivan Klyun, Olga Rozanova, Ksenia Boguslavskaya, Vera Pestel and others.
In 1916, the artist prepared 60 of his suprematist works for the exhibition"The Jack of Diamonds".
In the summer, Kazimir Severinovich was called up for military service in Smolensk.
He stayed there until May 1917.
After demobilization in May 1917, he was elected a representative from the left federation to the council of the professional Union of artists of painters, and in August — chairman of the art section of the Moscow Council of Soldiers ' Deputies.
The revolution changed Malevich's life.
