The 2021–22 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represents the University of Idaho in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
The Vandals, led by third-year head coach Zac Claus, play their home games at the newly opened Idaho Central Credit Union Arena in Moscow, Idaho as members of the Big Sky Conference.
Previous season
This was intended to be the 46th and final season for men's basketball in the Kibbie Dome, configured as the "Cowan Spectrum" for basketball since February 2001.
But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, home games were moved to Memorial Gymnasium, due to the 2020 football season in the Big Sky being delayed until the spring of 2021.
The Vandals finished the 2020–21 season 1–21, 1–17 in Big Sky play to finish in last place.
In the Big Sky Tournament, they lost to Montana in the quarterfinals.
